About vimla

  Vimla Sriram is a Seattle-based writer, shaped by Delhi. This means banyans and parrots will always try to sneak into her essays and poems. This also means the themes of home and belonging will appear in her writing. When not craning her head looking for the elusive woodpeckers, she can be found reading, writing, and making cauldrons of chai for her family and friends.  

She began her career with The Economic Times, later working at MSNBC, and KBCS. Her last stint was with the Indian School of Business, where she edited ISB Insight, their research quarterly.
